8U Registration is OPEN!

We are accepting registrations for 8U players on our 2024-2025 season rosters. 8U players can register with this link, below.

2024-2025 Season Registration with Indiana Youth Hockey Association

Roster position offers have been posted on our website, BELOW. Players had 48 hours (3:45PM 4/3/2024) to accept their rostered position by completing the 2024-2025 iyha season registration. 

 

Roster position offers are posted on our website anonymously using the pinnie color and number assigned to the player during the tryout process. Email the Registrar if you need to be reminded of your pin color/number.

All roster positions are automatically declined if season registration is not completed by the posted deadline. 

2024-2025 Season Tryouts

Season Tryouts for Indiana Youth Hockey Association were held at S&T Bank Arena [497 E Pike Rd, Indiana, PA 15701] on Monday 3/25 and Wednesday 3/27.  

ALL 8U players make a team for IYHA, 8U players can register NOW. The link is posted for 2024-2025 season registration, above.

IHYA FAQ

New to IYHA or having questions about the upcoming season? See our FAQ page under the Players and Families tab.

Didn't make the team? Please continue to develop your hockey skills. We highly encourage players to stay on the ice as much as possible, push to improve your skills and return for tryouts in future seasons. 

We also recommend continuing development through the Keystone Hockey Academy offered with White Township Recreation at S&T Bank Arena. Visit their website for more information: https://whitetownshiprec.org/programs-leagues/hockey-academy/

Please don't be afraid to come back in future seasons to tryout for an IYHA team. Tryouts often come with very difficult decisions that are not taken lightly, when forming competitive travel hockey teams. We want all our local youth hockey players to continue to play, even if it can't be with us. Wanting more information or advice on next steps, feel free to reach out. 

Unable to attend a tryout date?

It is highly recommended players attend both tryout sessions for their division. Please contact the coaching director immediately if a player is not be able to attend any of the tryout sessions. We accept 8U registrations through 12/31/2024. If you missed tryouts, please reach out to the coaching director.
